‘Extension to create a spectacular master bedroom suite’
In need of a new master bedroom suite, we extended this house over the living room below. Utilising an existing bedroom space, we removed the sloping living room roof and enclosed rafter ceiling, then laid new floor joists and board floor to form a new level ceiling to the living room. Walls were built up and a tiled roof created which incorporated an unusual window design to one side of the room.
The result was a spectacular bedroom with built in wardrobes across one wall, together with a dressing area, again with built in storage space, and a large tiled shower/wet room.
